BÖRSENPLATZ 1: MOMENI Group leases landmark property in Cologne to EY on a long-term basis

(Cologne, 17 June 2026) MOMENI Group has successfully concluded the renewal lease with existing tenant EY at BÖRSENPLATZ 1 in the CBD of Cologne. With this agreement, EY continues its commitment at the location and reaffirms the property’s long-term importance for the ongoing development of the company’s modern working environments.
BÖRSENPLATZ 1, comprising around 18,000 sqm, occupies one of the most prominent locations in the city centre — in the heart of Cologne’s banking district — and combines tradition and the future. The three-wing office complex was built in 1952 to designs by renowned Cologne architect Wilhelm Riphahn (parts of which are listed) and continues to shape the site today with its striking vertical structure. In recent years, the property has been carefully refurbished.
The flexibility of the building structure — several building sections as well as four separate entrances with a main entrance on Börsenplatz — supports a wide range of use and security concepts and, if required, also enables “house-in-house” solutions.
The property comprises a lettable area of around 18,000 sqm and is fully let. A total of 323 parking spaces are available. The building is located in one of Cologne’s prime city-centre locations: the main railway station and public transport connections are within walking distance, as are all shopping and cultural amenities in the city centre.
The building holds a BREEAM “Very Good” certification. In addition, operational optimisation is supported, among other things, by AI-assisted systems, and the building’s landlord-supplied electricity is accounted for as 100% sourced from renewable energy. The newly concluded agreement with EY is also structured as a Green Lease, supporting the shared sustainability goals of tenant and landlord.
