FÜRSTENHOF: MOMENI Group leases landmark project in Frankfurt am Main to Allianz Global Investors on a long-term basis

  • Allianz Global Investors signs 15-year lease agreement
  • MOMENI Group develops FÜRSTENHOF with around 34,000 sqm GFA in a prominent CBD location and consistently implements ESG strategy

(Frankfurt am Main, 22 September 2025) Full occupancy in Frankfurt's banking district: Twelve months after construction began, the MOMENI Group has secured international asset manager Allianz Global Investors as the sole tenant for the office space at FÜRSTENHOF.

This early marketing success marks an important milestone for the FÜRSTENHOF project development. The listed FÜRSTENHOF building will be given a new lease of life in 2027 thanks to a comprehensive redesign by the renowned, Frankfurt-based architect, Holger Meyer. Its prominent location directly on Gallusanlage offers excellent connections to local and long-distance public transport. The FÜRSTENHOF blends in perfectly with its high-quality surroundings, which include the theatre, opera house and European Central Bank.

Extension with ‘Skygarden’ and unique view of the Frankfurt skyline

"Our projects are often the first choice for leading companies. We are developing a unique, highly attractive working environment in Frankfurt's banking district for Allianz Global Investors, its employees and visitors. Allianz Global Investors has opted for a high-quality property with outstanding architecture that enables the implementation of a modern, sustainable and smart office concept. A particular highlight will be the addition of a green skydeck with unrestricted views of the Wallanlagen park and the Frankfurt skyline," explains Dr Hanjo Hautz, Managing Director of the MOMENI Group.

Construction work is already in full swing. The office building, parts of which are listed as a historic monument, is currently undergoing complete renovation. By 2027, MOMENI will have developed state-of-the-art, bright and flexible office spaces covering around 34,000 sqm of gross floor area, as well as attractive catering and retail spaces on the ground floor. The project has a four-storey underground car park with around 180 car and 160 bicycle parking spaces.

"Once again, it is clear that the consistent focus of our project developments, such as the Springer Quartier in Hamburg and the Dreischeibenhaus in Düsseldorf, on high-quality architecture, functionality and sustainability has proven particularly successful in a challenging market environment for the real estate industry. With the FÜRSTENHOF, we are creating a building with special charm and character," says Ulrich Wetterkamp, Project Manager and Director of Development at the MOMENI Group.

Saving ‘grey energy’ by preserving the building structure

Taking various sustainability aspects into account, the FÜRSTENHOF is currently undergoing comprehensive revitalisation. The concept is based on preserving as much of the building fabric as possible, thereby contributing to savings in ‘grey energy’. In addition, the construction measures are being implemented using environmentally friendly materials – to create healthy office and working environments with intelligent energy and technical equipment. The project features several spacious terraces and attractive roof gardens.

Beneath the 600 sqm forecourt, which is being revitalised with two conservatories and attractive dining options, a 30-metre-long underground rainwater retention reservoir is being constructed. Parts of the forecourt itself will be unsealed and replanted along the Gallusanlage, as will the roof gardens.

The revitalisation project is aiming for LEED Gold certification for sustainability and WiredScore Platinum certification for digital infrastructure and connectivity.

The MOMENI Group was advised on the legal aspects of the lease agreement by Jebens Mensching PartG mbB.
