Sustainability is not a trend, but a necessity that we have firmly anchored in all our business processes.
ESG
Since 2021 ESG has been integrated in our group as an individual business unit.
Sustainability has risen to become a key competitive factor in recent years. ESG criteria accompany us throughout the real estate life cycle and shape our business activities from day to day. In light of this, further accentuating the strategic importance of sustainability at MOMENI is a logical next step in our journey.
With the adoption of our ESG Strategy 2.0, we are consistently pursuing this path and strengthening sustainability at the core of our company. The ESG Strategy 2.0 serves as a new benchmark for sustainable real estate development and management and takes our previous voluntary commitments to the next level. It sets clear-cut targets and shows how, at MOMENI, we combine corporate responsibility with business success.
As our ESG journey shows, sustainability is nothing new to MOMENI. Since a long time, we have consistently implemented and applied certified sustainability standards and measures across our real estate portfolio to increase efficiency and optimize natural resource use. We are aware that our industry owes responsibility here, because buildings are linked to 40 percent of global carbon emissions.1
But the real estate sector’s responsibility is not restricted to ecological fields of activity. Be it our employees, tenants, investors or the public – the various interests of our stakeholders as well as a high standard of social responsibility form major components of our ESG strategy. All MOMENI activities combine an emphasis on a holistic long-term view. This is the aim of our ESG Strategy.

MOMENI’s wide-ranging business activities and the work of the non-profit MOMENI Group Foundation enable us to make a positive contribution to a total of seven SDGs and the associated targets.
The MOMENI Group refines its ESG strategy.
With the further development of our ESG strategy, we are underlining the growing importance of sustainability and responsible entrepreneurship at MOMENI. Our ESG Strategy 2.0 defines ambitious goals and outlines concrete measures for combining long-term value creation and corporate responsibility. For MOMENI, the focus is on a holistic and future-oriented approach. Our updated ESG strategy follows this approach and reflects our commitment to a sustainable and successful future.
The MOMENI Group has published its ESG-Strategy.
ESG principles accompany us throughout the entire life cycle of our real estate and shape our daily actions. Therefore, it is a coherent step for us to give additional emphasis to the strategic importance of sustainability at MOMENI.
This strategy sets clear objectives and demonstrates how we at MOMENI combine corporate responsibility with economic success. For MOMENI, the focus is on the holistic long-term view. This is the approach we take with our ESG-Strategy.
As part of the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), MOMENI Group is committed to reducing direct and indirect emissions (Scope 1+2) by 42% by 2030 compared to the baseline in 2021. SBTi is a collaboration between CDP, the United Nations Global Compact, the World Resources Institute and the World Wide Fund for Nature. The initiative supports companies to set science-based targets for a path to sustainable growth and emission reduction.
We are constantly aware of our responsibility to investors, business associates, employees and society at large.
