About the project

The office building at Börsenplatz 1 is situated in the top location of the Cologne banking district and was designed by the renowned Cologne architect Wilhelm Riphahn. Due to the very high architectural quality, the listed property, which was originally built in 1952, was enlarged in 2005 by a modern new building which is connected to the original u-shaped building. In addition, and within the scope of a core renovation, the original space was modernized to a very high standard. Today the property has a rentable area of approximately 18,000m² and underground car parking facilities for over 300 vehicles. The building ensemble won the award "exemplary buildings in North Rhine-Westphalia" and impresses with an elegant mix of old and new components comprising two green areas with water surface elements.
